Tea farm blog: Narashi work – cutting away to form a base for new leaves


“Narashi” is a really important farming work. In order for new tea leaves to come out, you need to make a platform.

So you cut away the old leaves to make the base, and then you can make “genki” leaves!

After the “Narashi”, we start preparing for harvesting :)
