What were your expectations from the internship before you came to Obubu?
I did not have any expectations before. I was fully openminded to anything that could happen at Obubu.
Did the internship meet your expectations?
Yes
If you can change anything in the internship, what would it be?
I would definitely like to have some contribution, such as free accommodation and / or food supply, i.e. for lunch.

How was a typical day during your period?
Getting up around 7 AM (or earlier if field work), breakfast at 7.30 / 8 AM, meeting with the staff at 9 AM, prepping for tea tours from around 9:30 AM, tea tours between 11 AM and 3:30 PM. Cleaning after tea tours until 4:30 PM. Tea Discussion at 5 PM, replying to emails or doing other internal work or working on personal project, dinner around 7-8 PM. Private time, bed time.
What was your best memory at Obubu?
Cooking / eating / time with the other interns. Taking (food / tea) photos.
What do you do now?
I’m a freelance writer & photographer.
