Tea Picking on Guided Tour?

I am travelling solo for hanami.  I believe the dates of my trip do not coincide with the Picking and Rolling Event.  On the guided tour, is there any tea picking?  In the photos I see people with baskets, so I am not sure.  I would like a tour with picking.  Please advise.

Dear Krista, thank you for the question. Tea picking events are held only 3 times per year and in 2017 that will be: 29th April, 8th July and 23d September. Currently tea tours for individual travelers do not involve tea picking. For the available program please see here.
