和束町の三代目和菓子職人、石田さんによる和菓子作り教室に参加してみませんか。 和菓子は伝統的な日本のお菓子で、通常、特に伝統的な茶道の際に抹茶と合わせられます。 和菓子のデザインは美しさを表現するために作られており、多くの場合、季節の味やイメージを反映しています。
石田さんは私たちおぶぶと提携して、彼の熟練したお菓子とおぶぶのお茶を組み合わせました体験を開催します。 このワークショップのために、彼は和束町を囲む美しい茶畑からインスピレーションを得て、特別な和菓子のデザインを考案してくれました。
このワークショップでは、3つの和菓子の作り方を最初から最後まで学びます。 伝統的な茶碗に入れられた抹茶とともに、本格的なお茶体験をお楽しみいただけます。 セッション中は、おぶぶチームが厳選し4種類のお茶も提供させていただきます！
Join a Wagashi-making class held by Ishida-san, a third-generation master of Japanese traditional confectionery from Wazuka. Wagashi are traditional Japanese sweets, that are usually paired with matcha, particularly during the traditional tea ceremony. Wagashi’s designs are created to portray beauty, and often reflect seasonal flavours and imagery.
Ishida-san has partnered with us to pair his expertly crafted sweets with our locally grown tea! For this workshop he created very special wagashi designs, inspired by the beautiful tea fields that surround Wazuka.
In this workshop, you will learn to create three wagashi from start to finish. Then you will enjoy them with a cup of our matcha in a traditional chawan, for an authentic tea experience! Throughout the session, you will also be served three more teas, carefully selected by the Obubu Team!

Workshops are held in English and Japanese.
Workshop Price
The tour is available for up to 20 people and is 5,500yen/person. The price includes:
- Japanese tea sweets
- A selection of three Obubu Teas, served throughout the workshop
- A bowl of Ceremonial Grade Obubu Matcha to enjoy at the end of the workshop with the wagashi
Workshop Booking Steps:
- To book your place on the workshop please select a date from the calendar below.
- After submitting the booking form you will be directed to a payment page. Please make the payment at the time of the booking (you cannot return to the payment page afterwards).
- Your tour is reserved once the payment is confirmed (Stripe confirmation is regarded as the tour confirmation).
Cancellation:
- More than 14 days before the tour date: Full refund
- 14 – 7 days before the tour date: 80% refund
- 6 – 3 days before the tour date: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days before the tour date: No refund
- Booked through crowd funding: No refund
- In case of a refund, we will refund you the amount after deducting Stripes’ Transfer and Booking Fees.
