Last October, we entered the contest called EAT!MEET!JAPAN 2020 and we received a Silver award as a result!
As Obubu, we won the award for EAT!MEET!JAPAN CONTEST for two consecutive years.
WHAT IS EAT! MEET! JAPAN?
Eat! Meet! Japan is a project that recognizes and promotes the best Japanese food experiences nationwide. Commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF), the project aims to encourage repeat visits to Japan, providing an environment where foreign tourists can continue to have unique Japanese food experiences even after multiple visits to Japan.

For EAT! MEET! JAPAN CONTEST in 2020, there were a total of 225 entries. Of these, fifteen experiences were awarded prizes included Obubu!

This time we entered the competition with our tea club activities which we’ve been doing at Obubu since 2008.
We are very honored to be evaluated the activities since we believe that bringing tea to your life makes it even more wonderful and gives a lot of Joy.
None of these activities would have been possible without you who are always enjoying drinking obubu’s tea since tea can’t exist without the people who farm it but also people who drink it. We truly appreciate all your support!
