2020 Spring Handpicking Event

Kyoto Obubu Tea Farms Event – The events run through four seasons and are a tea farm tea picking experience, including Tea picking & tea making experience

This is a photograph of the tea picking experience of spring of 2019 last year!

The Spring tea picking experience & hand rolling tea making experience is an event where tea lovers from all over the world gather. You can experience tea picking in the pleasant spring climate and enjoy the natural beauty of Wazuka!

The whole event is completed in a day, but it is difficult for the tea lovers to wait to taste their tea at the end!

Obubu has a mission of “Japanese tea to the world” and has been active since 2004, and more than half of the participants are often from overseas.

It is an exciting day to experience tea making, one aspect of traditional Japanese culture, in an international atmosphere, so it is very popular among families.
